STRUMA MOTORWAY, LOT 3.3 KRESNA – SANDANSKI ROAD SECTION (LENGTH 23.6 KM)

PATSTROY-92 is a partner in Struma – Lot 3.3 Consortium, which is the contractor responsible for the construction of Kresna – Sandanski road section of Struma Motorway.

It is a design-build project co-financed by the EU Cohesion Fund and the state budget under the Operational Programme Transport and Transport Infrastructure 2014-2020, Priority axis 2 - Development of road infrastructure along the core and comprehensive Trans-European Transport Network.

Struma Lot 3.3 Consortium completed the project in compliance with FIDIC’s Conditions of Contract – Yellow Book.

In addition, PATSTROY-92 successfully executed demolition of a temporary link on Road I-1 (E79) at km 424+100 on Lot 4 of Struma Motorway and switching of traffic to Lot 3.3 of Struma Motorway. Numerous native trees and shrubs for this area were planted along the motorway and additional 5,200 m2 of turf grassing were sown outside the project.

Struma Motorway is part of the Orient / East-Med TEN-T Core Network Corridor and the shortest route to connect the River Danube and the Aegean Sea, respectively the international ports of Lom and Thessaloniki.
