Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Road III - 306 Lukovit - Cherven Bryag – Knezha Was Completed

Patishta Pam Consortium with PATSTROY-92 AD as Lead Partner and Avtomagistrali Hemus AD and Roads and Equipment EAD as members completed the rehabilitation and reconstruction of 26.54 km of the third-class road Lukovit – Cherven Bryag – Knezha in Pleven and Lovech regions. The project was implemented under the Operational Programme Regional Development 2007-2013.
The highly efficient cold recycling technology for constructing asphalt pavement layers was applied throughout the road section. Optimal drainage of the road pavement is provided. The shoulders were restored, concrete curbs were laid down, steel guardrails and new road markings and vertical signalization were installed.
Road III - 306 is an essential transport connection between Pleven and Lovech regions and provides quick access to Hemus Motorway. The improved transport infrastructure will contribute to safer traveling of residents and will facilitate the access to administrative, educational, health and cultural services.
