1st Stage of Varshilata Viaduct Reconstruction on Trakia Motorway Was Completed

On 22 November 2013, a Consortium of Geostroy AD, PATSTROY-92 AD and Mostremont-97 OOD, being a contractor of construction and assembly works on Trakia Motorway, completed the first stage of remedial works to Varshilata viaduct at km 61+327.

The right roadway in the direction Sofia-Plovdiv was completely repaired. The rehabilitation works include construction of new sidewalk blocks, reconstruction of the existing drainage system and execution of new waterproofing. New protective systems were installed - crash barriers and guardrails. The entire roadway was covered with binder course and wearing course of asphalt pavement. New dilatation joints were mounted and horizontal thermoplastic road markings were applied.
