Prof. Dr. Eng. Rumen Milanov received an honorary plaque for his overall contribution to road safety

The Bulgarian Branch Association Road Safety (BBARS) presented its ninth annual awards to recognize outstanding contributions to road safety in ten categories. Prof. Dr. Eng. Rumen Milanov – a member of the Board of Directors of PATSTROY-92 AD, a member of the Management Board of BBARS and an Associate Professor at the Road Construction Department in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy – was awarded an honorary plaque for ‘Overall Contribution to Road Safety’. For the second year in a row, Prof. Dr. Eng. Milanov received a prize by BBARS who had previously conferred to him an award for all-round academic contribution in 2017.

Among the official guests attending the event were the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works M.Eng. Valentin Yovev, Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Angel Popov, Deputy Minister of Interior Stefan Balabanov, Deputy Mayor Evgeni Krusev responsible for Transport and Transport Communications in Sofia Municipality and the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber M.Eng. Miroslav Maznev.
